The side scraper is normally held firmly against the cake as the cake is rotated, thereby obtaining a smooth finish.
To create the contemporary styling of a sharp, crisp edge on sugarpaste coated cakes, it is reco mmendedthat you select the right size for the height/side of your cake and use the standard size for the top.
Gently but firmly apply pressure to both the top and sides of the cake at the same time.
Wash in warm soapy water
Do not cleanusing abrasive detergents/cleanersor place in a dishwasher, as this may scratch and damage the surface.
